Perinaz Bhada-Tata is an independent consultant working on issues related to solid waste management, cities, and climate change. She is co-author of What a Waste: A Global Review of Solid Waste Management and Peak Waste – When Is It Likely to Occur? She was previously a junior professional associate in the Urban Unit at the World Bank in Washington, D.C. Perinaz has also worked at NASA-Goddard Institute for Space Studies and the Earth Institute in New York. She currently lives in Dubai, U.A.E.
