China Program Manager at the Worldwatch Institute

Haibing Ma is China Program Manager at the Worldwatch Institute. His projects focus on exploring green economy potentials, on the role of unconventional gas, and on the development of renewable energy mapping programs at provincial and local levels in China. Before coming to Worldwatch, Haibing was an International Policy Associate at the Center for Clean Air Policy (CCAP), where he developed mitigation scenarios and implementation plans for China’s electricity, iron and steel, and cement sectors; developed models for the power sector; and drafted a low-carbon development plan for the transportation sector.
