Following almost 20 years with the World Bank in Washington, D.C., Daniel Hoornweg returned to Ontario in 2012 as associate professor at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) Faculty of Energy Systems and Nuclear Science. Dan is a senior fellow with the Global Cities Institute at the University of Toronto, a contributor to Corporate Knights Magazine, and a regular blogger for UOIT and the World Bank. Dan is also the Chief Safety and Risk Officer for the Province of Ontario Technical Standards and Safety Authority.
